Cole Clark utilizes all-solid sustainable timbers across its models. When crafted using all-Narra for the top, back, and sides, the Angel 2 Recording Series boasts specific acoustic properties

Back & Sides: All-Narra wood yields a warm, mid-range focused tone that sits beautifully in a mix.
Body Shape: Angel 2 (Grand Auditorium with cutaway).
Electronics: Upgraded to the Cole Clark PG3 (True Acoustic) pickup and preamp system

The "Recording" designation sets this model apart from standard Cole Clark acoustics in several ways:

Bracing: Features a large X-brace paired with a Classical Guitar T-brace at the rear.
Top Thickness: The timber is thinned (typically around 3mm with 2.6mm carved out in patches), which provides a completely different EQ profile tailored for studio recording.
Soundhole: Often slightly smaller on Recording models to emphasize bass frequencies
