Black Diamond N477XLCY Cryogenic 320 Electric Guitar Strings - Extra Light 9-42
A very different process for manufacturing strings - the Black Diamond N477XLCY Cryogenic 320 Electric Strings are of an Extra Light Gauge - 9-42. They are cryogenically frozen in liquid nitrogen to -320 below freezing. More resilient than ever, great tone.

Cryogenic Treated
Black Diamonds Cryogenic Treated strings are cryogenically frozen in liquid nitrogen to -320F below freezing. The process tightens molecules in the core wire which minimizes microscopic gaps and tightens the structure of the high carbon steel core wire, making for a string that is stronger and produces a truer tone generating string. This process creates a string that is more resilient than ever before – providing an optimized sound experience for any musician. Worth a try if you have not used a Cryogenically treated string before.

Black Diamond Strings
Black Diamond Strings started in 1890 in the USA, and over the years they made strings for many different types of instruments. They were sold throughout corner shops, drug stores, and music shops, and they were the most common strings that you could purchase anywhere. Today, the company combines that history with modern technology, using advanced materials and sophisticated winding equipment to carry on the tradition of making quality strings. In 2015, Black Diamond Strings were awarded the NAMM Milestone Award for 125 years of service in the music products industry.

★★★★★

Fantastic shop. Great selection of unusual second hand guitars, of particular interest to me were the Japanese brands from 70s and 80s, like Greco and Burny. Really well priced and good selection of new gear too

Had a wonderful experience at A&B. Extremely friendly staff and a great testing experience; there are multiple rooms with couches and amps so it feels like you’re just jamming at home. Never felt pressured to do anything more than just enjoy the equipment on offer.Really helpful and knowledgeable staff who were able to recommend some great pedals. Would recommend anyone in the area to visit.
