In the early 1970’s, classical guitar tutor Andy Summers was offered a highly modified 1961 Fender Telecaster by one of his students, which he purchased for the sum of $200.  Andy became hopelessly addicted to the guitar and years later he joined a little band called The Police…

The guitar remains Andy’s principle player to this day, featuring a custom 6-saddle brass bridge, Seymour Duncan neck humbucker, Phase switching, additional control knob (operating an onboard pre-amp) and extremely heavy relic-ing.  Bringing to life tracks such as “Roxanne” and “Walking on the Moon”, this is a must-have axe for any dedicated Police fan.
