Absolute stonkin' strat with a cool bit of history attached

This period centered around a move from Fullereton to the Corona factory - a transistional period

All pretty straight forward specs from the period. Ceramic Pickups, common at the time

C - Shape Neck. upon inspection and playing the neck just felt wonderful and further investigation showed the neck made and finished by "Hector Montes" stamped and dated

Those in the know connect the dots to 2 years later, Hector working in the Fender Custom Shop and launched therafter the famed "SRV" Strat, Jeff Beck Strat and the "Blackmore" strat to note some key Custom Shop Releases. 

We love the bit of romance and stories with guitars, this neck is certainly a stand out, the guitar, wonderful

Good condition, fret life is good, few marks and dings, nothing amounting to any concern, just genuine play wear.
